A lot of annual sales meetings were canceled last year, for a lot of different reasons. That does not seem to be happening this year. In spite of appearances, and warnings from people who have never had real jobs, executives have decided to put the incentive back into the selling process.
Crane Business
All about the business side of the crane industry | general business, risk management, human resources, sales, marketing and business development.
The Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) has launched a new voluntary accident reporting scheme. The move follows a survey of its members last year regarding the need for better and more readily available industry statistics on crane accidents.
I’ve gathered some sales predictions from my crystal ball, a bunch of people you think are hot prospects, a few irritated customers, a couple tightwad purchasing agents, and a sales manager in a pear tree. Some are tongue-in-cheek — or are they? Some are painful.

The whole practical application of the early crane was basically rooted in the idea that a solid stationary point could provide a fulcrum for applying an upward lifting force: which is why we see the anchor holes for static cranes in the front of the remains of Ancient Grecian temples and villas.
