Submitted by on Thursday, 14 January 2010No Comment

Marco Crane & Rigging, based in Phoenix, Arizona, US, used its 300 US ton (272 metric ton) Link-Belt LS348 H5 crawler crane to construct a hangar in Scottsdale, Arizona. The spandrel being placed was 120 feet (37 m) long and weighed 150,000 pounds (68 metric tons). Rigging involved a 70 foot (21 m) main spreader bar and beneath that were two 30 foot (9 m) spreader bars.
